I just recently finished the campaign on this gem.
Very good. If you liked Doom (2016), you will certainly enjoy this. As it was with the original Doom and Doom II.
I haven't tried the multiplayer yet, but it seems to have taken a different direction this time.

I've been playing through it on the
Ultra Violence
difficulty, as I did every other Doom title. It is quite the ass-kicker. Lmfao. I appreciate its brutality.

Agreed. It's not kidding when it suggest to keep on the move, or you'll get lit up like a Christmas tree.
The Blood Punch and Crucible sword are welcome additions in my book. More ways to crush the demonic hordes into spaghetti sauce.
